  • Once logging into your account for the first time using your Goodwill email address, you will most likely be shown this screen for requesting additional information. This can happen when logging in and attempting to access your SharePoint, Outlook email or Microsoft Teams.

  • Click the button labeled “Next” and proceed to this page. It will require you to download an app on your phone titled Microsoft Authenticator.

  • Once you have the app downloaded on your phone, it will ask you to sign in with your “Work or School Account” and sign in with your Goodwill account. This may ask you to continue setting it up on your phone or device. If it does, It will open a browser page asking you to complete the setup and ask for a two-digit number to confirm your identity, and once entered, you should be finished. If not, please continue to the next step.


  • Once logged into your account, Press “Next” on this page allowing you to proceed to the next step.

  • In your app on your phone, tap on the option to “Scan a QR code”, Tap “Allow” for camera access, and point your device camera at the QR code on the screen.

  • Once added, it will change your screen on your phone quickly and display a screen similar to this with your account information. Once you are at this point, click next on your computer, and it should display a two digit code you will enter on your phone or device.
