ACO: How do I TRANSFER a call on a J100 series phone to another Extension?
Overview
The Transfer soft key puts an active call on hold and allows you to transfer the call to another Goodwill or Excelcenter extension. "Softkeys" are located at the bottom of the display screen on the phone.
To Transfer a Call
During an Active Call
1. Press the softkey under the Transfer button.
2. A prompt will appear asking you to select a destination:
3. Dial the four-digit Goodwill or Excel Extension number you wish to transfer to on the keypad.
4. Press the Call softkey:
5. You will be prompted to Transfer Now or Talk with the extension you dialed. Press the Now softkey to transfer the call and then hang up the phone receiver.
Talk Softkey
1. If you press the Talk button, it will call the extensions so you can talk to the person before transferring the call. Once the person who is transferring the call hangs up, the caller will be connected to the extension in place of the person transferring the call.
