How to take Square photos with an iPhone w/o losing your settings

- Open Settings
- Scroll Down and open the Camera Settings
- Open Formats, Change setting to “Most Compatible”
- Open Preserve Settings, Turn on Camera Mode, Exposure Adjustments, and Live Photo
- Open Photo app and turn live photo off by tapping the icon that looks like a bullseye and make sure it has a line through it to indicate that live photos are off
- Tap the carrot in the center at the top so it is pointing down like a V
- A menu will open at the bottom, tap the area labelled 4:3 and then select square, that should change the 4:3 area to 1:1, tap the carrot again at the top to close the menu.
- Close the camera app, then reopen the app and check your settings to make sure they don’t change.
