  6. Tap the carrot in the center at the top so it is pointing down like a V
  7. A menu will open at the bottom, tap the area labelled 4:3 and then select square, that should change the 4:3 area to 1:1, tap the carrot again at the top to close the menu.How to take square photos with iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro - 9to5Mac 
  8. Close the camera app, then reopen the app and check your settings to make sure they don’t change.
