IE Mode is a feature in Microsoft Edge that allows access to legacy sites that only support Internet Explorer 11. In the case of ETO this means that it can be used to access legacy features that otherwise were restricted to use with Internet Explorer. It also allows customization of Trusted Sites for users on Windows 11 operating system.

More details on the feature and its use case can be found in Microsoft's documentation site. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/edge-ie-mode)

Note that this feature requires Windows to work and is not supported for the MacOS version of Microsoft Edge.

If you already successfully using IE 11 for Legacy ETO, skip to Setting Up IE Mode in Microsoft Edge.

If you are setting up IE Mode in Edge for the first time on a Windows 11 operating system, skip to Setting Trusted Sites for Windows 11.

If you have IE Mode set up, but would like to know more about how to use it, start at the How to Use section.
