Social Solutions – Troubleshooting Reports

  1. Install Crystal Reports on your computer

    1. http://www.etoreports.com/npviewer.exe

    2. Run the Installer

    3. Once done, click finish

  2. Prepare your browser to run Crystal Reports

    1. Use only Internet Explorer 9, 10, or 11

    2. Menu bar -> Tools -> Pop-up Block -> Turn off Pop-up Blocker

    3. Menu bar -> SmartScreen Filter -> Turn off SmartScreen Filter

      1. Select Turn Off SmartScreen Filter and click OK

    4. Menu bar -> Tools -> Compatibility View

    5. Enter the following addresses to the Compatibility View Settings:

      1. etoresults.com

      2. etoresults2.com

    6. Menu bar -> Tools -> Internet Options

    7. Internet Options pop-up -> Security Tab -> Trusted Sites -> Sites button

    8. Enter the following addresses to the Trusted Sites:

      1. https://etosoftware.com

      2. https://etoreports.com

      3. https://etoreports2.com

    9. Internet Options pop-up -> Security Tab -> Custom Level button

    10. On the Security Settings – Trusted Sites Zone pop-up, make sure the following settings are disabled:

      1. Allow ActiveX Filtering

      2. Run antimalware software on ActiveX controls (Internet Explorer 11 only)

    11. Menu bar -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Browsing history

      1. Make sure “Delete browsing history on exit” is NOT checked

    12. If you are using a 64-bit version of Windows, make sure to use a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.

    13. Make sure Internet Explorer 9, 10, or 11 is your default browser

    14. Disable pop-up blocking from any custom toolbars you may have, or better yet – uninstall them

3. Install Java- make sure the Java plugins for Internet Explorer are enabled.
